July 24th, 2014 → 8:38 pm @

karen blog photoTune in to the next Angel Quest Radio Show on www.wrcr.com on August 2 at 1:05pm Eastern time.

The show will be about the Law of Attraction and how focusing on positive aspects can help during the grieving process.  We’ll be discussing the importance of concentrating on how your loved ones lived, not how they died, and the blessings all around you.

My guest during the second part of the show will be Josie Varga.

Despite having both cerebral palsy and bilateral hearing loss, she considers herself very fortunate, as she prefers to live her life focusing on the positive. Josie does not consider herself disabled, and never will.  Her disability, she believes, is her strength, not her weakness.

Discovering her passion for writing as a little girl growing up in Elizabeth, New Jersey, she went on to earn a degree in journalism and worked her way up to Director of Communications and Editor for an international trade association where she met and interviewed celebrities, authors, speakers, sport personalities and others.  Josie later became a successful communications consultant while authoring her first book, Footprints in the Sand:  A Disabled Woman’s Inspiring Journey to Happiness.  Since then, she has become a motivational speaker, encouraging audiences to strive to overcome and sharing the importance of having a positive mental attitude in life.

Her second book, Visits from Heaven is a compilation of remarkable experiences by ordinary people who have been communicated with in some way by loved ones who have passed on. Her next book, Visits to Heaven, which can be considered a sequel to Visits from Heaven, focuses on near-death experiences.

Make Up Your Mind to be Happy: 105 Simple Tips is yet another non-fiction work of Josie’s. It combines simple, yet effective happiness “tips” with contributions from several renowned experts in the field. “Divine Visits,” Josie’s fifth title and the second follow-up to her best-selling book, Visits from Heaven, delivers proof of miracles and divine encounters.

A creative thinker, Josie holds patents for two inventions.  Josie has also written treatments for a documentary version of Visits From Heaven as well as several new reality television shows, one of which is now being considered by producers in New York City and Los Angeles, California.

It’s going to be a great show!  So tune in on August 2 on www.wrcr.com (just press “listen live”) at 1:05pm Eastern time.  Many blessings to you!

Taking Comfort from Near Death Experiences

July 15th, 2014 → 7:36 pm @

karen blog photoFirsthand accounts of near death experiences, like this one from Eos Isabel Yolanda, are further proof that the energy of who we are really does continue to exist after our physical bodies have died. Eos, and hundreds of thousands of others, talk about the tremendous peace and light they’ve encountered when they reached “the other side.” Most of them don’t want to come back because they feel like they are home. When they do come back, it’s because they still have things to do and people to teach and touch with their lives.

“It was the summer of 1985. I was 5 years old and was in the shallow end of the pool.  I saw lots of kids and people playing on water slides on the very far end of the swimming pool, and my vision wasn’t that good, so I walked towards the deeper end of the pool to see more clearly, and that was when my foot slipped and down I went into the deeper end.

I was instantly under water because I didn’t know how to swim. I immediately just started to breathe the water, and I could see; it felt so peaceful. I loved it! I loved the feeling of breathing water! It was just such a serene, fascinating experience. I wasn’t scared at all!

Next thing I knew, someone picked me up out of the water. I didn’t recognize that it was my brother. My mind was at that point where I didn’t know who I was or where I was.  I started to float out of my body. I remember wondering why my mother was just sitting there reading a magazine and didn’t notice what happened. A lifeguard saw my brother and then they put me on the ground and started doing CPR.

Meanwhile, this beautiful tunnel of light in the sky distracted me. The tunnel was like a portal in the sky, but the tunnel itself was full of light with swirls made of clouds. The energy was so calm and serene. I was really drawn to walk into the tunnel and saw three shadowy figures in there. Two were males and one was a female. Somehow I could hear the three voices talking in unison. They looked like people, but they were shadowy and translucent at the same time. They also had facial features.

They kept saying, “Go back! Go back! Go back!” And I said to them, “No I don’t want to. She’s mean. (my mother) I don’t like it there. I love it here.”

And then they replied, “You aren’t done yet! Go back! Go back! Go back!”

So I went back, and next thing you know I woke up in the midst of them loading me into the ambulance where they pronounced me dead!”

It is so comforting to hear about what others have experienced when they were “there” because these stories help us to realize that our loved ones really are in a better place. And when we leave our physical bodies, many years from now, we will be in that better place too.

How Thinking Positive Thoughts Can Help to Heal Your Grief

July 8th, 2014 → 8:56 pm @

karen blog photoAfter the death of your loved one, your grief may seem like it will last forever. However, your loved one doesn’t want you to be so sad. With most of the readings I do, the messages that come through are, “I’m fine,” “You don’t need to worry about me,” “I want you to be happy.”

The first step to begin to feel better emotionally is to think positive thoughts. Easier said than done sometimes, I know! If you feel you are not able to think positive thoughts after losing your loved one, play the “Yes, but” game.  That is, after you think a negative thought, follow it with, “Yes, but,” and add a statement of something good that came out of it.

For example, you may be thinking of how much you miss your loved one. Then follow that thought with, “Yes, but we had a wonderful life together.” And then continue with even more positive thoughts, such as, “I’m so grateful he or she was in my life.” If you can, follow that with some funny memories you have of your loved one. And then continue to think of more and more positive aspects and memories. In this way, you’ll be focusing on your love and the good times you had with your loved one, instead of his or her absence.

I’m not saying that this will be easy – but it will definitely be worth your effort. Remember, your loved one is okay, and would want you to be, too!

Psychic Guide and Afterlife Expert Karen Noé Explains What Happens After We Die

June 19th, 2014 → 6:11 pm @

Karen Noé is founder of The Angel Quest Center, where she gives psychic readings, teaches classes, and practices alternative healing. In this article, she explains what our energies experience after they let go of their physical bonds.

Ramsey, NJ – June 19, 2014 – Hay House Author and Psychic Guide Karen Noé, Founder of The Angel Quest Center, recently published an article on her website (http://www.KarenNoe.com) on one of her most frequently asked questions: What happens to us after we die? Noé says energies and personalities remain, gaining perspective, but not quite leaving behind their opinions.

Karen Noé writes, “After leaving their physical bodies, our deceased loved ones are able to finally feel their connection with everything and everyone. Because they are not limited to their physical bodies anymore, they truly are free – with no pain and no more worries. They not only feel peace; they are peace and tranquility.  They are limitless and are finally able to experience their oneness with the Source of this infinite peace.”

What Happens to Us When We Die?

June 16th, 2014 → 3:25 pm @

karen blog photoIf you put a bowl of water in the middle of the room and leave it there, it will eventually evaporate. That doesn’t mean the water has disappeared from the face of the planet – quite the opposite! That water is no longer contained by its bowl and is now free to expand.

When people ask me about what happens to us after the body dies, I give them the example of that bowl of water. Energy doesn’t begin, and it doesn’t end. The energy of who we are continues well after it leaves the body. Our personalities also continue on. Loud people are still loud. Funny people are still funny. Our energy still has desires, but after it leaves the body, our energy also gains a tremendous amount of perspective on life.

After leaving their physical bodies, our deceased loved ones are able to finally feel their connection with everything and everyone. Because they are not limited to their physical bodies anymore, they truly are free – with no pain and no more worries. They not only feel peace; they are peace and tranquility.  They are limitless and are finally able to experience their oneness with the Source of this infinite peace.

Gaining Perspective

When the energies of our loved ones are released from their bodies, they are able to see “through God’s eyes.” They can now see the causes and effects of what they did or didn’t do on earth and how their choices and actions have affected all those in their paths. The physical body often makes it difficult for those of us on earth to have empathy for others and true understanding of ourselves; it’s like walking around with blinders on! But when we pass to the other side, we gain the ability to see why we did what we did, and are able to understand more fully what we could have done better.

Spirits are also in a much better position to help their living loved ones and can use their thoughts to gently guide and protect them. Remember, though, if you didn’t listen to your deceased loved ones when they were alive, you shouldn’t listen to them now. Even though they’ve gained perspective, they still have their own unique personalities and ideas of what they feel is important, and those ideas may not resonate with yours. You may want to call upon God and the angels in addition to, or instead of, asking your deceased loved ones for help with personal issues.

Your Deceased Loved Ones Speak to You Telepathically

June 9th, 2014 → 3:58 pm @

karen blog photoA message that I often receive from deceased loved ones is, “With a thought, I’m there.” In other words, wherever they wish to go, they can get there with a simple thought! Thoughts are also how they most often can communicate with us, but sometimes it’s hard to know whether a thought, memory, or idea comes from us or them.

Most people expect their deceased loved one to come to them as an apparition or speak to them with an audible voice. Because they no longer have a physical body, however, it is more likely that loved ones will speak to you telepathically. In other words, they will be sending their thoughts to you.

But how will you be able to tell the difference between your thoughts and their thoughts?

If you are thinking of your loved one, something will trigger your thought – maybe a picture of your loved one, a special date or time of day, an event, etc. Then this thought will trigger another thought, and then another. That’s how our minds work, a sort of domino effect of influences that results in a particular thought.

However, if your deceased loved ones are speaking to you telepathically, the thoughts will just pop into your head for no reason. These thoughts may be something they said or did, and will come into your consciousness unexpectedly. When you begin to notice these sudden thoughts from your loved ones, you will also be able to feel the difference. Their thoughts will actually feel more like outside thoughts, rather than rational, contemplative thoughts.

The best part is that the more you are aware that your loved ones are speaking to you telepathically, the more they will continue to come to you in this fashion. So make sure to pay attention to when and how you are “thinking” of your deceased loved ones. You won’t want to miss out on when they are speaking directly to you!
