How to Discover Your Guardian Angel’s Name

May 7th, 2015 → 6:24 pm @

Have you ever had a stroke of luck, near miss, or sudden burst of insight? These are just a few ways our guardian angels talk to us. But guardian angels aren’t just our once-in-awhile protectors and guides; they are always there to help us when we need it most. A wonderful way of asking for your angel’s help is by first learning his or her name.

There is so much power in a name. If you’ve researched your own name or specially chosen one for a child or pet, then you already know how important and meaningful it is. Even though our guardian angels are always available to us, learning their names is a fast and easy way to get their attention in our times of need. Knowing our angel’s name is the first step in developing a relationship with him or her that can provide us with blessed security, comfort, and protection.

So go ahead—find out your guardian angel’s name and introduce yourself!

Start by finding a calm, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed.

Try a peaceful clearing or meadow, or even your bedroom or office when you have some time alone.

Sit comfortably and take a few minutes to really relax.

Make sure you’re wearing comfy clothing that lets you breathe and doesn’t distract you. Go ahead and take off any belts, jewelry, or other items that could get in your way. Place your feet on the ground and sit up straight, but not too rigid.

Breathe.

Spend just a few minutes letting the business of the day melt away, and focus on your breath. Relax your face, neck, shoulders, hands, and anywhere else you feel tension. Imagine you’re breathing in only good things and letting go of what you no longer need with each exhale. Let your breath out as a sigh of relief until you feel calm and serene.

Start to count your inhales.

Count each breath in until you reach twenty.

Ask your guardian angel his or her name.

At breath number twenty, simply ask your guardian angel what his or her name is. You can ask with your heart or out loud; do whatever feels right in the moment.

Listen.

Your answer can come in any number of ways, but be patient until you know you’ve received it. The name may come as a thought, a voice you hear in your mind, a mental image, a sound, or even a feeling. The important part is to pay attention to the message received. If you feel that you’re not getting a message, just ask your angel to speak up a little so you can hear better.

Your guardian angel’s name is unique to you, so don’t be surprised if it’s not what you’re expecting, or not even a typical name at all. Accept the response that you get to your question and know that if it feels true, it is. If you aren’t confident you received your angel’s name correctly, simply ask him or her to provide a few signs here and there. You’ll start to notice little hints that will confirm your guardian angel’s name for you.

Developing a beautiful relationship with your guardian angel is simple — and it starts with learning his or her name. All you need to do is ask – so try it! Be open to receive, and you will!

Spiritual Counselor Karen Noé Says Count Your Blessings and Receive More Blessings

April 3rd, 2015 → 9:00 am @

Ramsey, NJ — Apr 1, 2015 — Author and psychic medium Karen Noé published a new blog post entitled “Count Your Blessings To Receive More Blessings.” In the post, she discusses how adopting an attitude of gratitude helps tune out small annoyances and attune your mind into seeing — and reaping — the abundance life has to offer.

Says Noé, “Our ability to see our blessings is directly related to how many we have. Think about it this way: If you are on the lookout for things that irritate you, you’ll probably find them. But if you focus instead on the things that bring you joy, you’re just as likely to find them instead. Sometimes we get stuck in a rut of concentrating on what’s not working. This is when it’s time to pause, get a pen and paper, and write down every single thing for which you are grateful.”

Count Your Blessings and Receive More Blessings

April 1st, 2015 → 2:44 pm @

There is a lot of wisdom in some of the old sayings I find myself repeating over and over again. One of my favorites is  - “Count Your Blessings!” Why is this? Because the more time I spend feeling grateful, the more blessings I receive!

So many of us live truly blessed lives. We have good food to eat, warm homes, and the loving kindness of friends and family. But how often do we find ourselves getting caught up in the minor annoyances of life instead of what’s good? It happens to all of us at one point or another that we focus on what’s bad instead of all the wonderful things. This is a red alert that we need to begin to count our blessings!

Our ability to see our blessings is directly related to how many we have. Think about it this way: If you are on the lookout for things that irritate you, you’ll find them. But if you focus instead on the things that bring you joy, you’ll find them instead. Sometimes we get stuck in a rut of concentrating on what’s not working. This is when it’s time to pause, get out a pen and paper, and write down every single thing for which we are grateful.

Work on developing an attitude of gratitude. Make it your default state. Every time you start to feel sad, angry, or annoyed, get out your list of blessings. See how many there are, and see if you can add to the list. It might take a little time to train yourself to focus on the many blessings in your life, but once you do, you’ll realize that they are everywhere!

Ask Your Deceased Loved Ones to Give You “Without a Doubt” Signs During Special Life Events

March 9th, 2015 → 1:28 pm @

Of course we all want to share significant moments in our lives such as weddings, graduations, new births, birthdays, etc. with the ones we love. That’s why it’s important to ask our deceased loved ones for “without-a-doubt” signs to let us know they are with us during these special life events.

My daughter recently got married, and I wanted to make sure that my departed mother was there. But a little background first: My daughter and son in law had their parents light candles at the ceremony for their loved ones who passed.

When it was my turn, I lit one for my mother.

Just a few moments later when I went back to my seat, the glass on that candle broke and made a LOUD sound for everyone to hear.

Then I heard my mom say, “Of course I’d be here sweetheart!”

I immediately whispered, “Thank you Mom!!” and started crying. What an amazing “without a doubt” sign from my mother on this very important day!

After that, one of the other candles burst in the same way! (I believe it was another deceased loved one telling us, “Hey, I’m here too!)

So don’t forget to ask your departed loved ones to come and give you a big sign during your special life events.  Then just be patient and wait, and don’t worry about how it’s going to occur. If they can do it, they will make it happen when you least expect it!

Don’t Be Afraid To Cry After a Loss

March 4th, 2015 → 2:21 pm @

Strong emotions don’t just affect our minds; they also affect our bodies. You may recall a time that feelings of intense happiness made your pain disappear and gave your heart a sense of lightness. But when we experience loss and tragedy, it can create physical reactions like tears or pain, in addition to the emotional discomfort. The best way to heal from pain caused by loss is to let yourself grieve, an important part of which is crying.

Some of us try very hard to avoid crying. Why is this? Crying is loaded with many connotations – both public and private. It is an embodied proof that we’re going through pain. However, crying means that you’re alive, and it means that you’re healing. So when you feel the stinging in your tear ducts, don’t push it back. Let it out and get it out of your system!

Crying is an important part of the grieving process, which is just that — a process. You can only take it one day at a time. Look back at how far you’ve come in coping with your loss. As each moment passes, your heart and your spirit will mend a little more. Crying may be just one phase in your process, or it might accompany you through until your heart has healed. The important thing to remember is that crying and grieving are your body and mind’s ways of healing themselves from the pain of your loss. Trust in yourself and your inner knowledge; your body will tell you that you’re closer to healing when you don’t cry as often as you did.

However, please remember, that throughout it all, your deceased loved ones truly are okay, and would want you to eventually be, too!

Many blessings to you!

xoxo
