“Dance like nobody’s watching; love like you’ve never been hurt. Sing like nobody’s listening; live like it’s heaven on earth.” This quote truly reflects the attitude we should have toward the gift bestowed upon us called “life.” Maybe you’ve seen this quote in action. You’re at a wedding, taking it all in, doing your usual people watching. Suddenly, you get on the dance floor and are having a great time, but you’re so worried that you may look funny. You start to feel embarrassed and then it hits you. You are just out there living in the moment, living free, and feeling great! Don’t you wish you could live that way all the time?
We live in world filled with voices and eyes. Voices that tell us what we should be doing and thinking, and eyes that are often are judging us. But whose voices are they any way? Why do we have to live up to their expectations? Are their standards even right? So it becomes a question of whose voices and whose eyes truly matter. While there are certainly people close to you whose opinions and thoughts are truly founded in your best interests, your focus should first and foremost be on what feels right from within yourself. We live in a world of love and abundance, so enjoy it! So get your dancing shoes ready!!! The time to be happy is now!

My experiences as a psychic medium leave me in awe and amazement on a daily basis. I wish everyone could have the chance to visit me at the Angel Quest Center and have a life changing experience, but because I’m booked for over two years and have stopped taking appointments for now, I have some great news! You can drastically improve your life and your relationships by addressing a few things right here in the physical realm. Simply becoming more aware of yourself and others can make you a “psychic” in our own right.
There’s a show on television called The Mentalist, where the lead character uses his amazing abilities to solve crimes. He attributes his success not to his psychic abilities, but to his keen ability to detect the details of life. In other words, he is the ultimate observer. His acute sense of body language, tone, and emotions allow him to put together a clear picture of what happened in the past or what will happen in the future. People’s responses also clue him in to what a person might be saying or hiding. This kind of analysis makes you think; couldn’t we use this kind of awareness to improve our human relations and our lives?
“I wish I knew what my husband wanted?” “What does she really feel?” “Why does my Father act this way?” “What is my child really thinking?” These are common questions we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives and often we are desperate to know the answers. Here’s the exciting news – it doesn’t take your psychic abilities to figure them out. It is time for us to enter the world of “the mentalist.” It is so delightfully fitting that the following three concepts are the same three they teach you in a CPR class. That’s right, we’re going to bring your relationships back to life!
1. Look:
Become the ultimate observer. Whenever or where ever you have the chance to sit back and “people watch,” do it! Be still and find a place of non-judgment in your heart. Simply observe facial expressions, body language, tone, and mannerisms. Be careful to observe how the actions of one person affect the other’s reactions. We can learn so much about how to communicate with others by watching others communicate. In the end we want to ask ourselves, “What do we look and sound like, and how do people react to us?”
2. Listen:
The common cliché that says we have two ears and one mouth so we can listen twice as much as we speak holds so much truth that it’s hard to deny. The universe’s cute little built-in ratio will yield us huge dividends if we apply it. The less we speak and the more questions we ask, the better our understanding of human beings becomes. Give yourself the opportunity to listen because the increased knowledge of people, situations, and emotions holds the key to the most important thing in life – the truth!
3. Feel:
This is the toughest one but we’re all capable of doing it. It is the ability to feel what someone else is feeling — empathy! The truth is that nobody really knows what we go through but us. A man will never actually know what it feels like to be pregnant. With that said, any man or women will tell you that even a small fraction of empathy and compassion can mean the world to someone. It can change outcomes in an instant. If we focus on opening our hearts and letting all judgment go, we can attempt to enter someone else’s world. Stepping into their world even for an instant can give us a much clearer vision of them and understand everything else so much more as well.

Love is the glue that holds everything together. Pure love is so powerful in our universe that it can literally change everything in an instant. All love has energy, and it has the potential to change people’s lives.
However, the levels of energy vary. There is one kind of love that has the greatest power and energy of all the different kinds of love. There’s only one catch though; it is the hardest of all loves to give. The most powerful love to give is the kind we give to those we feel don’t deserve it.
We find it a lot easier to love someone who is friendly, cares about us, or loves us back. It is extremely difficult to love someone who has betrayed us, hurt us, or dislikes us. People like that leave themselves wide open for us to retaliate with hatred and malice. As a matter of fact, some would actually prefer that because unfortunately, deep down, they feel that’s what they deserve.
Yet, the power of light will always defeat the power of darkness – every time! Open your heart this month and let the power of love overwhelm it. Specifically seek out people in your life who don’t deserve love and shower them with it. You’ll literally change their world — and yours as well.

I am honored that Kathryn Brinkley and Michael John Fierro will be on the Angel Quest Radio Show on Saturday, August 6 at 1pm EST.
Kathryn Brinkley is an author, journalist, lecturer, and metaphysical minister. She became aware of her Angels when they made themselves visible to her at the age of four. Through their powerful presence, she deepened her understanding of the mysteries of the universe, as she was faced with many challenges. Kathryn also had a life changing near-death-experience, which we are going to talk about on the show.
In 1988, she began writing articles for a metaphysical newspaper that she would eventually co-own. Think of the words you speak as the paintbrush to the canvas of your life. Picture your life as a blank canvas where anything you dream can be painted into existence. What kind of picture would you paint? Would you use bright colors? Would you paint a place that gave you peace? Maybe you would paint a place you always wanted to go? If I had a blank canvas, I think I would simply paint something that put a smile on my face. This is the power of your words. The way you speak sends ripples through the waters of the universe; it affects everything and everyone around you. So as the artist with the brush in your hand, be sure to paint your masterpiece. You can have the most profound effect on others’ lives by taking the time to encourage them, to motivate them, or just give them friendly advice. Furthermore, you have the power of creating the circumstances you want in your life by simply speaking them into existence. Speak them consistently and speak them with conviction, and you can paint a work of art.
Take this into consideration; every time you speak with people, you have a chance to change their lives. I know, it sounds like a big responsibility. That’s because it is. With that said, it’s one of the biggest gifts we’ve been given in this world. There is something about changing a person’s life that just can’t be taken away from you. It’s so deep and profound that it lasts through eternity. Money doesn’t buy happiness, but changing someone’s life with your words does. It’s a gift that keeps on giving. The positive energy you infuse into someone’s life will affect the lives of many others that you have never met. If you have the chance to tell others you love them, take it! If you can bring someone peace through your words, do it! If you think you can give your loved ones advice that could change the course of their lives, don’t miss that chance.
There is no human being that has a more profound influence in the outcomes of your life than you. So with that truth in mind; what are you saying about yourself? What are you consistently telling yourself to do? My point is simple – if you aren’t your biggest fan, motivator, and friend in this world, then who is? Positive affirmations should be a part of your daily routine. Post an inspirational phrase on your mirror and repeat it to yourself every morning and every night. Post your goals on the refrigerator and read them out loud everyday. When you get down, stop yourself, and pick yourself back up. Remind yourself you are a child of God and speak victory into existence.
If you do take the opportunity to use the power of words, make sure that you understand that your tone is just as powerful as the words. Make sure the words you speak are firmly rooted in love. Make sure your tone is one that builds up rather than tears down. Let your words be a beacon of light, not only to those around you, but especially to you. You were blessed with a blank canvas; now go be the artist you were created to be!

I find it funny that some people say they don’t believe in energy. Yet some of those same people often say things like, “That person is really a passionate about what he does.” Did that person say he was passionate? Most likely no. The observer actually felt that person’s passion. He felt it because passion is one of the purest forms of energy in the universe. It’s like a child who comes home one day unexpectedly. The mother is sitting in her chair reading a book, when suddenly her son bursts through the door. The son stops in front of his mother’s chair, eyes gleaming. His surprised mother puts her book down. Before the mother can ask what he’s doing home, the son says, “Mom, I know what I want to do with my life!”
Whether you’ve seen this scene in a movie or experienced something similar in real life, one thing is for certain…passion doesn’t lie! Truth be told, passion is one of the most honest of energies. It is a spontaneous explosion of enthusiasm and desire. It simply can’t be faked! At this point it doesn’t matter what that son is going to tell his mother next. The mother can already feel the son’s energy and knows there’s no stopping him! How wonderful!
In life, you will not always be qualified for the challenges in front of you. However, being qualified does not always lead to success, but success ALWAYS requires passion. God wants us all to be passionate about what we do in life. Better yet, passion is a built in a guiding light that let’s you know you are moving in the right direction. You will soon realize that in your search for passion you will end up finding the truth of your purpose in this world. Purpose is hidden in our passion.
