For this month’s Angel Quest Show, Karen will be talking about her latest book, Through the Eyes of Another: A Medium’s Guide to Creating Heaven on Earth by Encountering Your Life Review Now, which has been published by Hay House.
As a psychic medium, Karen often receive messages of regrets from deceased loved ones who communicate things they wish they had said or done differently when they were still alive. In Through the Eyes of Another: A Medium’s Guide to Creating Heaven on Earth by Encountering Your Life Review Now, Karen explains that you don’t have to wait until you die to go through your life review. You can create your own heaven on earth, and experience peace in your life right now.
During the Angel Quest Show, Karen will be talking about simple exercises you can do to help you experience your life review now and see the bigger picture of how you are affecting yourself and those around you. Karen will explain how to write different types of letters to yourself and your loved ones, both living and deceased, as a way of going through this life review. These letters include: letters of gratitude, letters of forgiveness (if you want to forgive someone or if you want someone to forgive you) letters to deceased loved ones, and most importantly, letters to yourself.
During the show, Karen will also be opening up the phone lines for those who have questions about these exercises and will be giving away books to callers. The number to call in is: 845-362-0013.
So tune in. It’ll be a great show!

Henry Ford once said that “If you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.”
This quote illustrates a very important idea that is often ignored… the idea that, almost all of the time, limits on our abilities and our achievements are self-imposed. In other words, most of the limits we face are placed on ourselves.
Of course, there are “real” limits that we face in life. No matter how hard we try, waving our arms will not enable us to fly. But take a minute to think about the limitations you are currently facing in life, and evaluate how many of them are “real” limits, and how many are self-imposed.
For instance:
“I really wish I could learn French, but I’m terrible at learning new languages.”
“I would love to backpack across Europe, but that is impossible because I don’t make enough money.”
“I can’t enjoy life because I am stuck at this dead-end job. I hate it, but I can’t find anything better.”
“I wish I had a better relationship with my brother, but he is just impossible to talk to.”
Most of us could relate to at least one of these “wishes”, and if not, we all certainly know someone who can. Each of them represents a challenge that certainly seems impossible to overcome… but if we look more deeply into the heart of the problem, we realize that it can be overcome with a bit of planning and work.
Take the desire to backpack across Europe as an example. It is easy to dismiss it as “impossible”, especially if you don’t make much money. But if it is truly important, you can find a way to do it. This might mean saving just a bit of money each month for the next five or even ten years. It might mean connecting with a group that allows you to join them at a reduced cost. Or it might even mean finding a new job that pays more. This is a hypothetical situation, but the point is simple: by digging into the essence of a challenge that seems impossible, we can often find the solution!
So what does this mean to you today? It means that you can fearlessly look into your own heart and ask yourself “what do I really want from life?” And it means that, no matter how impossible your dreams and desires may be, they are not out of your reach. It means that by seizing the day and refusing to say “I can’t”, we can accomplish anything!!
Resolve today to stop saying, “I can’t” or “that’s impossible!” Instead, say “I don’t know how to do that yet… but if I apply my creativity and my energy, I KNOW I will discover the solution!”
This change in your mindset will change the course of your life. By pursuing your dreams without fear, you will discover a richer and more fulfilling life than you ever thought possible!
Many blessings to you as you explore this exciting journey that we call life!

Tune in on Saturday, July 7 at 1:05pm EST on www.wrcr.com to the next Angel Quest Radio Show. My guest will be Gerry Gavin, author of Messages from Margaret: For the Year 2012 and Beyond. When Gerry first began experiencing strange occurrences with the supernatural, he was very skeptical. But as the communications with otherworldly beings became stronger, he began to accept and reach out to them. Eventually, Gerry began conversing with Margaret, his guardian angel, through letter writing. These messages began as personal guidance for him, and later expanded to assist anyone who would come to him for Margaret’s sage wisdom. In Messages from Margaret: For the Year 2012 and Beyond, Margaret brings her messages to the world, taking the reader through the beginning of creation up until our current moment and what 2012 means for humankind. Gerry will give messages from Margaret to those who call into the show. (The number to call in for a mini reading at that time is 845-362-0013.)
It’s going to be a great show, so make sure to tune in!
**Gerry will be teaching a class at the Angel Quest Center on July 15. Check out the class schedule for more details.

There are those who see the glass half full, and those who see the glass half empty. For example, suppose a twenty year marriage ends abruptly. One spouse might say, “Well, at least I have two beautiful children, and you know what, we had a lot of good years together.” We may say, “Now there’s a glass half full kind of person.” The other spouse might have the completely opposite view. When the marriage ends, he or she feels all is lost; his or her life has been wasted. We may notice, “Now there’s a glass half empty kind of person.” What if we’re wrong though? What if our view of the glass – our view of optimism and pessimism are based on a false premise? That false premise is that there exists an empty space in the glass! Let’s look at it in a different way. –We’re not looking at an empty glass – we’re looking at a glass that can be full and overflowing. It’s just that we simply forgot to KEEP POURING.
Think about it. There are just some people who, no matter what bright side you try to paint, will not convert to a positive outlook. They’ve chosen the negative side. That’s because if they are looking at a glass that is half full, they can never overlook the fact that there is an empty space. It’s not really empty though. We live in a world of abundance. We live a life where blessings pour in continuously. Not by the year, not by the month, but by the second. It is like a glass that is being continuously poured into. It is only our choice to pour half of the goodness out to leave room for the negativity. We may feel that there needs to be room for the pain. We may feel that we must leave enough room to talk about our problems and deny the blessings in our life. Then, sure enough, before we know it, we’ve poured the entire glass out. And then it’s just empty space.
If you turn that glass right side up, right now, and connect to the truth, everything will change for you. The truth is that the intent of the universe is to prosper you. The intent of the universe is to prosper those around you. The intent of the universe is to fill your life with peace and joy to the point that it overflows…to the point you want to share it with others. That’s the truth. When we’re connected to that truth, there are no wins and losses. There are simply short term wins and long term wins. Short term wins are great and provide immediate gratification. More often, however, what we have are long term wins. These require us to stumble, to learn, to stumble again, and finally to reach the enlightenment we require to achieve the long term blessing. We’re human and we make mistakes. However, the biggest mistake is judging everything as a positive or negative, a win or a loss.
Connect to the truth of the universe and realize that everything is a process that leads to a blessing. Better yet – the process IS the blessing. Without the process, we simply wouldn’t get better. Focus on that blessing, and focus on the multitude of short term wins every single day from everyone and everything around you.
Spend your energy on the solution to your so called “problems” so that the process can lead you to the bigger blessing. Try to be a glass FULL kind of person. Keep your glass right side up…and always, always keep pouring.
Angel blessings to you! xoxo

I am happy to announce that I will have 2 guests on the next Angel Quest Show, which will air on Saturday, June 2 at 1:05pm EST. My first guest will be Julie Genovese, author of “Nothing Short of Joy.” Born a dwarf with degenerative arthritis and a childhood of humiliation and heartache, Julie was terrified she would never find happiness. After two brain surgeries, lots of trial and error, and endless soul searching, Julie finally took charge of her own life, and one day, she began to label her life… “Nothing Short of Joy.” Author Wayne Dyer said the following about her book, “This is a masterpiece that will take you out of your comfort zone and into a magical world of joy. I love this book. I love this woman. Read it and reap.” I agree with Wayne. I couldn’t put the book down!
The second guest will be Vinnie Favale. Vinnie is the producer of the Off -Broadway play, “Hereafter Musical,” a musical drama (with some light touches) that explores what happens when a loved one dies – from the perspective of both the living AND the dead. Vinnie is hoping to take this show to Broadway, to spread the wonderful message that life truly does exist after the physical body dies.
The sentiment of the “Hereafter Musical” is captured beautifully with the reading of Henry Van Dyke’s classic “Parable of Immortality” during the show’s prologue. “I am standing on the seashore. A ship spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the ocean. I stand watching her until she fades on the horizon. And someone at my side says; “she is gone.” Gone where? The loss of sight is in me, not in her. Just at the moment when someone says, “She is gone”, there are others who are watching her coming. Other voices take up the glad shout, “Here she comes!”
So tune in on June 2 at 1:05pm EST on www.wrcr.com to hear these inspirational guests. Just click onto “Listen Live.” (If you miss this show or any of Angel Quest’s earlier shows, you can simply go to http://www.throughtheeyesofanother.com/angel-quest-radio-show, and click onto the show of your choice.)
Have a wonderful, peaceful day.

DEBBIE, a woman in her 40′s, sits in the passenger seat of a car parked on a curb. The door to the driver’s side is open facing the sidewalk. Several passers walk by confused as Debbie stares at several of them intently. Finally, a gentleman, RICK, walks up to the car.
RICK:
Are you ok?
DEBBIE:
Actually I need a ride to my house.
RICK:
Well, is this your car?
DEBBIE:
Absolutely.
RICK:
Are you not ok to drive?
DEBBIE:
No, I’m fine. I just rather you drive.
Rick pauses. He’s very confused, yet curious. Debbie seems pleasant enough, so Rick gets into the driver’s seat. He turns on the car and pulls off.
RICK:
Ok, so where we headed?
DEBBIE:
You tell me.
RICK:
How should I know, it’s your house.
DEBBIE:
Where do you think my house should be?
RICK:
What? It’s YOUR house!
DEBBIE:
You’re going to get us lost, Rick.
RICK:
Why’d you let me drive in the first place?
TO BE CONTINUED…
Sounds like the script to a comedy, doesn’t it? It’s actually a movie you’ve seen many times before. Read it again, you’ll see. Do you remember now? It’s that movie you’ve seen play over and over again in many peoples lives. It could be the current story of YOUR life. It’s the story of a strong, radiant, and capable human being who decides to let others decide where they are going in life. It is the story of a creative soul who gets lost on the way to their dream because they continue to let someone else drive THEIR car.
That’s right, you are the star of this wonderful movie called life. You, or someone you know, could very well be Debbie, and you may be a little lost right now because you’ve let other people get in your driver’s seat. Maybe it was because you were afraid to make your own mistakes. Maybe it was because you wanted someone else’s approval. Maybe you sacrificed your dream for someone else’s. No matter what the reason, it’s time to change the script! Because you see, in addition to being the star of this movie, you just so happen to be the author and director. You decide how this story ends! If this is you or someone you know, tell them it’s time to rewrite the story, it’s time to grab the steering wheel. This is your life and your dreams, and nobody else can live, act, write, or direct this movie but YOU. Make the movie YOU want, and make it now, because the only thing we cannot control on this project is when our movie premieres.
While there will be some really cool previews and trailers leading up to the premiere, the BIG premiere will take place when we leave our physical bodies. This will be your life review and it will be more of a private screening, but it will be spectacular nonetheless. Picture yourself walking into the most beautiful theatre you’ve ever seen. As you walk down the aisle, you notice something interesting. All the seats are gone except for one spectacular seat right in the middle of the theatre, center screen. You notice that nobody else is there to see your movie; not the critics, not the naysayers, and not anyone whose approval you’ve tried to gain over the years. It’s just you and the screen. Are you excited to see your life’s work? I think you will be, because I believe in your skills as an actor, author, and director of your life.
This is what I picture for you…
The movie ends, and with tears of joy, you slowly stand and begin to clap. Suddenly the clapping intensifies and you realize you’re surrounded by every person you’ve touched in your life by simply chasing your dream. You realize that by chasing your dream you not only fulfilled your life’s purpose but you also inspired hundreds, thousands, millions…to do the same. The happiness you feel is overwhelming. Eternity awaits!
Angel blessings to you!

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
― Albert Einstein
Imagine you’re having a birthday celebration at your house and you’ve invited all of your friends over. Everyone comes into the living room for the opening of the gifts. As you begin to open the gifts one by one, it becomes clear that everybody brought the same exact gift. What would you think to yourself? Your first thought might be, “How could this be?” Maybe it feels kind of awkward. No matter what you think, you know something isn’t right. So why do we expect life to be any different? We often spend a lot of time comparing ourselves to others. We wonder why we don’t have the same gifts others have, yet we miss the beautiful simplicity that we weren’t meant to bring the same gift to the party.
You bring a unique gift to the party, and that’s what makes the party fun! This month, try to spend your energy looking into the things that you are not only talented in, but that you love to do. There are several things in your life that you are just naturally good at. You may know exactly what those things are, or may have forgotten what those things were because of your busy everyday life. Or….you may not have taken the time to simply open your eyes to the gifts that were right in front of you.
Think about it. Have you ever been impressed by what someone did, and said to him, “Wow, you were really good”? Then instead of getting a simple thank you of acknowledgement, they gave you a surprised expression and said, “Really?” That person actually had no idea they had a gift until you told them. You have a gift — plain and simple! We all do. Maybe you know what it is, maybe you don’t, but that is your job this month – to find out what it is! Then pursue that gift and do something amazing with it.
Let me tell you something you may already know. Talent is only one aspect of being a “genius.” You can actually become great at something just by having a true passion for it. Why? — Because passion is the greatest motivator for learning and practice. When you were little, you didn’t know how to tie your shoes. You weren’t born with that talent, but now you “loop and swoop” all the time! My point is, in addition to finding and pursuing your natural talents, also pursue the things you just simply love to do.
In the past, I bet you put things you loved on the back burner because you felt they were not that important. But what if it was the other way around? What if the things that brought you joy were the foundation for true happiness in your life?
Take some time this month to meditate on your talents and passions, and begin a plan to eliminate any barriers to your accomplishing these things. Don’t let other people judge you based on their talents — and more importantly, don’t judge YOURSELF based on their talents.
Einstein enlightens us by easing our minds and letting us know that comparing ourselves to others is based on the faulty premise that we are all good at the same thing. Simply put, fish don’t climb trees, and truthfully, we wouldn’t want them to. It’s not who they are! Remember, it’s no fun going to a party where everyone brings the same gift. You will not find happiness by being a carbon copy of someone else. You need to follow your dreams to become all that you were meant to be!
Many blessings to you! xoxo

Just the other day in a restaurant I overheard a conversation between two mothers. One of the mothers commented on the other’s son, saying how he seemed so focused and sensible at such a young age. She called him “an old soul.” To this, the young boy’s mother nodded and said, “Yeah, he’s definitely been here before.” It made me smile.
Of course he really has been here before, We’ve all been here before. Our souls are eternal, and after our bodies pass, we don’t just disappear. Life continues, and we may even choose to come back because we have some unfinished business to do here on earth. In some cases, we may choose to come back because there are some very important lessons we need to learn or issues we need to revisit in order to have peace. (This is why it is so important to lead a peaceful and loving life and resolve our conflicts while we’re here in our physical bodies. Furthermore, we need to be more alert to the lessons life has to teach us each and every day.)
Getting in touch with our past lives can elevate our life experiences in so many ways. Think about a certain talent you have naturally. Where did it come from? It may have come from a past life that you had. The important thing to know is that it’s there for a reason! Cherish the talents and abilities you have and nurture them. If you have something in your life you are naturally drawn to, follow it!
Have you ever run into someone who seemed so familiar to you? It could be totally possible that this person WAS actually a family member or a friend in a past life. Family and friends often decide to come back at the same time so they can be together. They may also come back because they have unresolved issues that need to be resolved.
Remember though, that the past is simply a guiding light. What we truly need to concentrate on is the NOW. The present is the most important thing we have because this moment in time is where life happens. We shouldn’t waste a second of it. We should chase our dreams, follow our hearts, and spread love to all we encounter. If we do, we won’t have to make amends in another life, and we’ll be creating peace in our world right here and now. And isn’t that what we are all striving for anyway?
Have a peaceful day! Angel blessings to you!
